The general conditions of use of the ISAAAC website are set out below. These conditions govern the use of the ISAAAC websites, which are accessed through the URL www.isaaac.tech, or any of its subdomains (hereinafter, the website), and which must be complied with by all users who access the aforementioned websites (hereinafter, the users).

ISAAAC reserves all rights to its own content, unless otherwise specified.

In the case of user-generated content uploaded to the ISAAAC blog, the owners expressly declare that such content is their original work, or, in respect of works by third parties that they use or implement therein, that they carry out such acts in accordance with current regulations, without infringing the rights of said third parties. ISAAAC’s purpose is to ensure the correct use of its platforms, with the utmost respect for the freedom of expression recognized by the Spanish Constitution.

ISAAAC undertakes to act diligently to prevent the existence of illegal content on its website and, in the event that it becomes aware of such content, to remove it or prevent access to it.

ISAAAC takes every possible step to ensure that the use of its website is secure, in accordance with its technical and organisational capabilities, as established by Regulation (EU) 20161679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter RGPD) and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (hereinafter LOPDGDD).

1- Privacy: ISAAAC does not guarantee absolute privacy in the use of this site, since the possibility that unauthorized third parties may have knowledge of it and the circumstances in which it is carried out should not be ruled out.

2- Virus: ISAAAC does not accept any responsibility for possible damages caused by computer viruses, the absence of which is not guaranteed.

3- Cookies. ISAAAC informs users that it may have installed “cookies” on its systems. “Cookies” are information files that are generated through instructions that web servers send to browser programs, and which are stored in a specific directory on the user’s computer. Cookies themselves cannot personally identify the user, although they may contain the user’s IP address.

1- ISAAAC informs users of this website that it may create an automated file with the personal data provided to it as a result of the use of this website and in strict compliance with the provisions of data protection legislation.

2- Users guarantee the truthfulness and authenticity of the information and data they communicate by virtue of the use of this website. In this regard, it is the obligation of users to keep the information and data updated or, when this is not possible, to inform ISAAAC of any changes. Any false or inaccurate statement that may occur as a consequence of the information and data provided, as well as any damages that such information may cause, will be the responsibility of the users.

3- Users, in accordance with the provisions of articles 12 et seq. of Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights and articles 15 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 26, 2016, regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of these data (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter RGPD), may exercise the rights of access, rectification, deletion, limitation of processing, portability and opposition of their collected and archived data. The exercise of these rights must be carried out by means of written communication addressed to the administrative team of ISAAAC, and may be submitted via email to info@isaaac.tech, or by any of the methods provided for in the Law. The communication must be accompanied by a photocopy of the ID, passport or other valid document that identifies the holder of the right, except if the telematic procedure is used, in which case the use of the identifying electronic signature will exempt the presentation of the ID or equivalent document.

4- The recorded data may be used for the purposes of producing statistics, sending scientific information, managing incidents or conducting market studies, in addition to those for which the data have been expressly collected.5- Where appropriate, personal data provided by users may be communicated to a third party in the cases provided for by law, obtaining, in any case, the consent of the interested parties when this is necessary.

5- By providing personal data to ISAAAC, users declare that they fully and unreservedly accept the processing of their data by ISAAAC.

6- ISAAAC undertakes to comply with the obligation to maintain confidentiality regarding the personal data being processed and declares its intention to implement the necessary technical and organisational measures to guarantee the security of personal data and prevent its alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access, taking into account the state of the technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed, whether arising from human action or from the physical or natural environment.

    8. Termination

    Although the duration of this site is indeterminate, ISAAAC reserves the right to suspend or terminate the provision of some or all of its services, without having to notify its users in advance of this decision.

    7. Applicable law and jurisdiction

    These General Conditions of Use are governed by Spanish Laws.

    Any dispute in relation to the ISAAAC website shall be brought before the Spanish jurisdiction, with the parties submitting to the Courts and Tribunals of the city of SALAMANCA, expressly waiving their jurisdictions if they have them and they are different from those mentioned.
