The Knowledge Transfer Group of the University of Salamanca on “Regulatory Compliance, New Technologies and Citizen Guarantees” and Professor Pedro Nevado.

Professor Pedro Nevado holds a PhD from the University of Salamanca with his thesis “The Military Public Service: The Legal Regime of Professional Military Personnel (1812-1994)” (1995). Supervised by Dr. Miguel Ángel Domínguez-Berrueta de Juan.

He is Director of the Research Center for Global Governance and the Doctoral Program on the Rule of Law and Global Governance at the University of Salamanca. He holds a Bachelor’s and Doctorate in Law from the same university and a diploma in National Defense from the School of Advanced Defense Studies. He also teaches extensively at both Spanish and Latin American universities.

Prof. Pedro Tomás Nevado-Batalla Moreno

He has held various institutional positions, such as: Member of the Public Ethics Committee of Castile and León, Minister of Public Administration of the Government of Extremadura, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the GPEX group of companies, Chairman of the Advisory Council of Extremadura, and Chairman of the Contractual Appeals Court of Extremadura.

Principal investigator on various research projects and results transfer contracts. He is a member of the Study Group Against Corruption (USAL) and a member of the Public Law Research Group and the Military Law Observatory at the Pontifical Javeriana University (Bogotá). He has also participated in and drafted various legislative processes and regulatory developments.
