Prof. Louis Brennan, PhD

Fellow, Trinity College and Professor of Business at TCD, Ireland.

Dr. Brennan is a Fellow of Trinity College and a Professor within the Trinity Business School at Trinity College Dublin. He previously served as Director of the Institute for In- ternational Integration Studies. His areas of interest include International Business, Global Manufacturing and Supply Chains, Technology Management and the Business of Space. He has over 200 refereed publications in those areas and has published six books. He is a frequent invited contributor to international conferences. His research has been funded by national and international bodies and international corporations.

Dr Brennan founded and chaired from 2010 to 2014 a twenty six nation research net- work on emerging multinationals. He also chaired the Global Steering Committee on the non-science benefits of Global Infrastructures and organised and chaired the Workshop on the non-Science Impacts of Large Scale Science Infrastructures: the case of the Global SKA project. He designed the Global Standard for accreditation of programmes in the field of Purchasing and Supply Management for the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM).

He has worked with a host of international bodies including the EU Commission, the European Science Foundation, Eurostat, the OECD, the Asian Development Bank, World Customs Organisation and multinational firms. Dr Brennan is a self-proclaimed catalyst with a mission to re-shape the future and a contributor to the discourse, dialogue and debate, on globalization.
