Dr. Eduardo Castelló Ferrer, PhD
Foundational Member of ISAAAC Advisory Board
MIT MEDIA LAB
Dr. Castelló received his B.Sc.(Hons) in Intelligent Systems from Portsmouth University (UK) and his M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in Robotics Engineering from Osaka University (Japan). His research interests include swarm and distributed robotics as well as devices, for example, synergy between robotics and controlled-environment Food Computers. One aim is to discover, analyze, and integrate new techniques for precision processes.
Dr. Castelló also worked at the Institute of Automatic Control Engineering (LSR), Tech- nische Universität München (TUM), where Dr. Castelló tested and implemented several communication modules for the EU FP7 BEAMING project. These modules were used in order to teleoperate robotic avatars with real-time capabilities.
