Prof. JrJung Lyu, PhD

Director of CQI (Center for Quality & Innovation) at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan

Dr. Lyu is a Professor and Director of the Center for Quality and Innovation at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. He obtained a PhD degree in industrial engineering from the University of Iowa.

 

Dr. Lyu has participated in many projects, public services, and reviewing committees since 1989, including consultant of NICI (National Information and Communications Initiative Committee), president of EBMS (e-Business Management Society), co- founder of cross-strait RFID alliance between Taiwan and China, consultant of IDB (Industrial Development Bureau, Government of Taiwan), advisor to the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA, Government of Taiwan), and Researcher of Engineering & Technology Promotion Center (MOST). He was awarded the National Quality Award, Taiwan, in 2002. He serves as the country councillor in Taiwan for ASQ, USA.

 

His current research interests include e-business strategy and innovative services, global quality management, healthcare, electric vehicles, genetic diagnostics, entrepreneurial innovation for advancing Industrie 4.0 and digital transformation. Dr. Lyu is the advisor of over 200 PhD students, graduate students and MBA students. Dr. Lyu serves as the board member for Phalanx Biotechnology and consultant for Taiwan Mitochondrion Inc.
