Prof. Arturo Lorenzoni, PhD

Professor Lorenzoni teaches Electricity Market Economics and Energy Economics at the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Padua. He held a Electronics Engineering degree (1991) and a PhD Research of Energy (1995). In 1992 he obtained a Master degree in Environment and Energy Economics at the Enrico Mattei E.N.I. Superior School, and in 1993 – 1994 he was a “Study Fellow” at the University of Sussex at Brighton.

His research interests are: economics applied to the energy sector, the regulation of this sector, the development and implementation of renewable energies and energy efficiency. From 1993 he collaborates with the Department of Economics and Politics on Energy and Environment (IEFE) of the Bocconi University of Milano on Energy Economics. In 2008 he found with other colleagues the Galilea spin off that involves young engineers and offers consulting in the energy sector.
