Geopolitics and global security analyst with special reference to the Mediterranean and Latin America . He holds a PhD in International Law and International Relations from the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid, with the highest marks ( excellent cum laude ) in the line of research of Professor Dr. Castor Díaz Barrado, deepening the legal and geopolitical implications of Economic Intelligence and Cognitive Intelligence in the new international confrontation. Lawyer, 2nd level Master’s degree in “Geopolitics and Global Security” at the University of La Sapienza of Rome (2003) and Postgraduate training at the SIOI in Rome in “International Functions and Relations” (2002). He will expand his studies in the Law of the Sea with a specialization at the UNED-Camp de Gibraltar in 2023.
His work focuses on public international law and international relations, integrating the disciplines of strategic studies and geopolitics within the framework of the constantly evolving reflection of structural political realism. He collaborates as an author with the scientific journal “AffarInternazionali.it” of the IAI ( Istituto Affari Internazionali ), a leading think tank. Italian Tank , founded by Altiero Spinelli in 1965 and one of the 20 centers of study further influential to level world according to he Global Go To Think Tank Index 2020, with the Ce.SI (Center for International Studies) of Rome and the Spanish Institute of Strategic Studies – CESEDEN Ministry of Defense of Spain.
He has been a researcher and and professor at the IASSP (Institute of Advanced Strategic and Political Studies for Leadership) in Milan on topics of Global Security, Geopolitics, and Economic and Cognitive Intelligence.
Teacher guest (15 of October-15 of December 2022) in the University Pontifical Bolivarian – Medellín (Colombia), giving the lecture “The new paradigm of confrontation in the international system. An analysis from the perspective of the Doctorate in Legal and Political Studies” Political realism”. Dr. de Vito is also invited to give lectures at universities on outreach and analysis activities, such as the “III International Congress ‘Relations between Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe’, organized by the Yuste Foundation – Guadalupe (Cáceres – Spain) on 21 and March 22, 2023 under the title of “Europe and Latin America: a new pact Strategic and empathetic dialogue is possible within the global process of fragmentation of international relations.” Another recent case is the conference “The relationship between Europe and Latin America in the process of fragmentation of the international system”, given at the University of Pinar del Río – Cuba, May 2, 2023.
