Dr. Francisco Javier Ruiz Cano

A PhD in History, he was born in Navalvillar de Pela (Badajoz) on July 4, 1988, with a solid humanistic education acquired at prestigious institutions such as the University of Salamanca, the University of Granada, and the National University of Distance Education (UNED). His academic career is characterized by a cross-disciplinary background in history, art, and philosophy, which enriches his analytical and critical approach. His research focuses on the study of political violence in both autocratic and democratic contexts, as well as on the processes of ideological configuration and collective action of the far right. He is part of the SSH team at ISAAAC, where he contributes to the analysis of social and political phenomena from an interdisciplinary perspective. His work is notable for its rigorous and committed approach to understanding contemporary political phenomena, contributing to academic and public debate from a critical and grounded perspective.
